International Conference Physics of Neutron Stars – 2017 50 years after July 10 — 14, 2017, Saint Petersburg, Russia

Participants are encouraged to book their accommodations via online services such as Booking.com as early as possible, since July is a high tourist season in Saint Petersburg.

For your convenience, The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) has reserved a limited number of rooms in:

• The economy-class hotel Orbita near the conference place,
• The business-class hotel Cronwell Inn Stremyannaya in the historical center of Saint Petersburg,
• The business-class hotel Saint-Petersburg at the embankment of the Neva river near the historical center.

Hotel "Orbita"

It is situated within 20 minutes by subway from the city center. The Pulkovo airport (LED) is normally reachable within 1 hour (∼ 40 minutes when without traffic jams) of drive from the hotel. The hotel is located within a 10-minutes' walk from the Academic University ("Akademicheskiy Universitet"), the conference place. Not too far from the hotel you can find several large parks, a swimming pool, a supermarket, bowling, cinema etc. The hotel offers different room types (from suites to economy class), internet access, café and other services. The hotel is a nine-stories building with 257 rooms with balconies. There are a TV-set, a telephone, a refrigerator, a bath or a shower in every room. Additional bed is possible in every room. Children under 7 years old without the additional bed stay for free.

Hotel "Cronwell Inn Stremyannaya"

The business-class hotel Cronwell Inn Stremyannaya has an excellent location! Just a 5-minute walk from Nevsky Prospect and Moscow Railway Station, the Cronwell Inn Stremyannaya Hotel offers comfortable accommodation in the city center. The nearest metro station Ploshad Vosstaniya is on a same line with the Ploshad Muzhestva metro station so it takes about 40 minutes to get from the hotel to the conference place.

Built in 2010, the hotel features rooms with satellite TV, a work desk, mini fridge, hairdryer and slippers, Wi-Fi. The Cronwell Inn's restaurant serves Russian and European cuisine, and there is an on-site bakery. A daily breakfast buffet is provided, and English-style afternoon tea is served at 17:00.

The environmentally friendly Cronwell Hotel has been awarded the Green Key certificate.

Saint-Petersburg Hotel

Address: Saint Petersburg, Pirogovskaya emb. 5/2.

The Saint-Petersburg hotel is located at the embankment of the Neva river. It is close (10 minutes walk) to Finlyandskiy railway station and "Ploschad' Lenina" metro station. Thus it will take approximately 40 minutes to reach the conference site. It has rooms with cable TV, desk, and seating area. Many rooms feature large windows with panoramic river views.

European and Japanese food is served in the Saint-Petersburg's Bering restaurant. Varied buffet breakfasts are prepared in the mornings.

BOOKING (for Cronwell Inn Stremyannaya and Saint-Petersburg hotels)

Your booking should be prepared and paid in full in advance before June 1, 2017 in order to guarantee rates and accommodation! The period of guaranteed reservation is July 9-15, 2017.

CANCELLATION

• For cancellations of your booking received till June 1, 2017, the sum of payment will be refunded completely, minus banking costs.
• If cancellation is made on and after June 1, 2017 till the date of check-in, the cost of one night stay and the amount of banking costs will be kept back. The rest of the payment will be reimbursed.
• If cancellation is made after check-in date, the penalty is 100% payment for all period of reservation.

All refunds will be made within a week after the Conference has been finished.
