The following standard LaTeX packages must be installed (are used by the astronomyletters class): abstract (https://ctan.org/pkg/abstract) - allows an abstract spanning 2 columns; caption (https://ctan.org/pkg/caption) - to format captions to figures and tables; footmisc (https://ctan.org/pkg/footmisc) - to align footnotes at the left edge of text, as in the journal; indentfirst (https://ctan.org/pkg/indentfirst) - for indentation of the first line in a section; Normally all packages should be installed in a regular way from their distributions. If some of the listed packages are missing in your LaTeX implementation, you may get and install them at the URLs indicated above.
