Kirill L. Safonov

Kirill Leonidovich Safonov was born in Leningrad on December 2, 1981.

In 1998 he graduated from the Lyceum "Physical-Technical School" and entered Physics and Technology Department of Saint-Petersburg State Technical University, the Chair of Solid State Physics.

Since September, 2000 he participates in the scientific research in Group of the Theory and Computer Simulation of Radiation Defects and Processes in Multicomponent Materials headed by Prof. Dr. Sci. Yurii Vladimirovich Trushin.

In 2001 he was awarded the A. F. Ioffe grant for students.

• theory of defects in crystals;
• radiation damage in multicomponent materials;
• ion implantation;
• physical basis of radiation technologies;
• computer simulation of physical processes in multicomponent materials;
