Anomalous behavior of the entropy determines the universal properties of heavy fermion metals. These properties are drastically different from the properties of conventional metals. At low temperatures, the magnetic susceptibility, Gruneisen ratio and effective mass diverge, while the tunnelling conductivity is asymmetrical function of the voltage.
