The work is devoted to the research of the evolution of isolated neutron stars and related problems (mainly, evolution of close binary systems, resulting in formation of neutron stars, first of all isolated neutron stars). Results obtained using different methods, analytic calculations, semianalytic computations, qualitative hypotheses, and detailed computer simulations are presented.
