Molecular hydrogen absorption systems in SDSS: some results

We present recent results of the search of molecular hydrogen absorption systems at high redshifts (z>2) in Sloan Digital Sky Survey. Also we discuss some new results of the follow-up VLT observations of H2 absorption systems preselected with SDSS.
