Tighter registration rules in Saint Petersburg for forein and Russian nationals
This year Saint Petersburg is the host city of 2018 FIFA World Cup.
From May 25, 2018 to July 25, 2018 Absolutely all foreign nationals should be registered with migration registration authorities.
Foreign nationals coming to Saint Petersburg and staying at hotels
do not
need to take any additional action. Hotels will ensure that they are registered
with the migration authorities.
Foreign nationals not staying at a hotel should make sure that their host is able to submit a notice to migration registration authorities within 1 day of their arrival in Russia.
These registration rules apply to absolutely all foreign citizens, including those who are not required to register at the usual time (citizens of Armenia, Kirghizia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine):
- Foreign nationals must be registered with migration registration authorities within 24 hours of their arrival;
- Documents for registration with migration registration authorities must be submitted in person so registration cannot be done through the post office;
- Failure to register can result in fines of up to RUB 5,000 and deportation outside the Russian Federation.

Ужесточение регистрационных правил для российских граждан
Санкт-Петербург является одним из городов, в котором проводятся матчи Чемпионата мира по футболу.
В период с 25 мая по 25 июля 2018 года приезжающие в Санкт-Петербург российские граждане обязаны зарегистрироваться в органах внутренних дел в течение 3 суток с даты приезда.
Российским гражданам, проживающим в гостиницах, не нужно предпринимать никаких дополнительных действий. Гостиницы сами обеспечат их регистрацию.
Российским гражданам, останавливающимся не в гостинице, нужно убедиться, что принимающая сторона сможет подать уведомление в органы внутренних дел в течение 3 суток.
Для получения регистрации по месту пребывания нужно вместе с человеком, предоставляющим жилое помещение, обратиться в территориальное подразделение ФМС, к которому относится его адрес.
Возьмите с собой:
- документы, удостоверяющие личность;
- заявление о постановке на регистрационный учет (пишется прямо там);
- документы, являющиеся основанием для Вашего вселения в жилье (договор найма и свидетельство о регистрации права собственности — того, к кому Вы временно подселяетесь).
При оформлении временной регистрации Ваше постоянное место жительства останется прежним, Вам на руки выдадут свидетельство о регистрации по месту пребывания.
