If the magnetic field at an astrophysical source contains a random component than the output synchrotron radiation will fluctuate. I discuss the approaches to calculating those fluctuations and importance of this theory development for astrophysics including CMB anisotropy interpretation, ISM turbulence diagnostics, and diffuse galactic sources' analysis.
