Social Programme

Along with the scientific sessions, a broad social program is planned for participants and accompanying persons.
St Petersburg was designed and built by Russian and Western architects and is often called "the Venice of the North". St Petersburg will celebrate its 300th anniversary in the year 2003.

The Social program includes by tradition: a Welcome Party, a Symposium Dinner, an excursion around the city, a visit to the Hermitage (Winter Palace), Pushkin (Tsarskoe selo), Petergof and/or Pavlosk.
