Submission of Contributions

Authors are requested to submit a one-page abstract of their contributions (about 2000 characters including title, name(s) of author(s) and affiliation(s)) in Word for Windows file. If you do not have access to this particular word processing program, or to a PC, please save your document as Rich Text Format (RTF). RTF is available through the "Save As" option on most major word processing packages.

The deadline for abstracts is April 15, 2006. All abstracts have to be sent by e-mail: Nanodiamond@mail.ioffe.ru

File should be called by the Name of the principal author (for example, "Petrov.doc"). The name of the principal author who will present the paper at the Symposium should be underlined. All the abstracts will be reviewed and the criterion of rejection will be a lack of originality.

Accepted abstracts will be published in the book of Abstracts by the Conference.

 

Publication


The Proceedings of the Symposium will be published as a special issue of the journal Diamond and Related Materials (http://ees.elsevier.com/diamond).

  1. ALL submissions MUST be received via the Elsevier Editorial System (EES) electronic submission site. For details see http://ees.elsevier.com/diamond
  2. Deadline for receipt of manuscripts to be assured for consideration for the Nanodiamond 2006 Proceedings Volume: 15 October 2006 via the Elsevier Editorial System (EES).
  3. Only contributions presented by the author(s) at the Conference will be considered for publication in the Proceedings Volume.
  4. Submission implies that the manuscript is not under consideration for publication elsewhere and that, with the exception of review papers, the manuscript represents original work not previously published.
  5. All manuscripts will be reviewed following the editorial procedures of Diamond and Related Materials.

Proceedings Volume WORD LIMIT :

  • 3600 words (four Journal pages) for CONTRIBUTED (oral or poster) articles or
  • 5400 words (six Journal pages) for INVITED articles
