27th International Symposium on Shock Waves

The ISSW-27 program is intended to provide scientifically valuable meeting and to give some entertainment too. Social events for the participants are listed in the Tentative Work Program of the Symposium. Program of the Symposium will contain a city sightseeing bus tour, a tour to Peterhof Imperial residence ("capital of fountains", "Russian Versailles"), banquet, evening cultural events, that are open for all the registered attendees and companions.
The Companions program is planned to cover all the working days of the Symposium and tentatively includes excursions to the Hermitage fine arts museum, to the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (museum & shop), river boat trip, etc. Preparing the social program for the companions we tried to arrange the events so that the program could be exciting and not too expensive.
