Young Scientist Award Workshop Programme Committee and Frontier Carbon Corporation (Japan) established a special award to honour a young scientist who will present at the Symposium the best paper. The award consists of a certification and a RUR 15000 (about $ 500) reward sponsored by Frontier Carbon Corporation.

The awardee is be selected by the Award Committee among the Symposium participants nominated by the Programme Committee. The Chair of the Award Committee announces the winner at the Closing Ceremony scheduled for the last day of the Workshop.
